Additional Training (temporary Skill Boosts)

Allocate an individual to 'specific skill' training for X amount of time. After that time they have that particular skill "boosted" for X amount of time or usages.

Example:
Send your fighter to train accuracy for 9 hours (or whatever, based on your training facility's level) and for 1 day, 3 hrs, 1 mission, or whatever, they have a random boost to their accuracy. They are unavailable during training and if pulled early they get no bonus.

melee

accuracy

reload

speed

vision

morale

dexterity

It would be good to combine this with my idea of an overhauled class system.

 

1, remove remove specialized classes and make everyone a Leader, with points gains per level for stat development.

 

2, find stat boosting books(pretty common) to raise fighting, engineering, healing, recon, and scavenging

 

3, introduce new bookstore/library locations with high chance of finding books, especially skill books.

Do you (anyone) have other skill-training suggestions? Healing, repair, or whatnot?
