A friend of mine started to play DZ and asked me wehre to get batteries to craft a Radio Amp.

I asked him why he likes to craft it coz it isn't needed to build a Radio Receiver or a Two-Way Radio.

Maybe I am stupid but I think you don't have to craft a Radio Amp coz it isn't needed at all.

Am I wrong?

Isn't it great what you can get from 30 seconds of research?

Guess what LLiquid ... your comment is a useless as Radio Amp itself coz it explains nothing but Radio Amp exists but not what it is needed for.

Anyways ... thanks for your post :)

All that tells you LLiquid is that it isn't used for anything.   We already know that.  What it doesn't tell you is why it exists, which is the entire point of this thread.

My best guess is that Con intended for it to be used to construct the radio receiver (which only consumes wood), but decided for whatever reason not to include it in the components needed to build it.  So it was put into the game, but never used, and Con hasn't gotten around to removing it.

That's my guess, but only Con could say for sure.

Hoping this is not throwing the thread off topic, but I was thinking about the com network enable microphone use so players could speak with each other. (gives new meaning to the mute button now?) So maybe the amp is used so enable voice chat.

Con, would you mind to add Radio Amp to the construction of Radio Receiver cause otherwise it won't work if it is made out of wood only :)
