Ouch. That would be utterly lethal at level 55, and extremely dangerous for a good ten levels below. I've been playing with noise books of late, they work.

Would be absolutely brutal in Green Plains, a regular walker there already has like 3000 health, and herc riots would be basically invincible. Could you imagine the uni elite+rush combo with that book on? Could have best equipment in whole dead zone and you would probably still lose.

Scenarios.. little idea I had. These would be rare events that could only be unlocked under certain conditions.. perhaps a reward in a war- or island-box or something, and would essentially run like the island (though perhaps less lavish in terms of time, given smaller maps). As an example "Ivan's enforcers"

Ivan is owed by a group of survivors and has asked you to retrieve whatever it is he is owed. You get to keep anything else you find along the way. The three stage mission might run something like this: 1. Securing the compound entrance (i've used that compound entrance on a small street as an example). You would need to clear the place of infected outside the compound entrance. 2. The compound. A compound, but set up differently to standard survivor compounds (think some of the areas obviously made to look like they are overrun survivor bases) 3. The bunker. Something like a warehouse either overrun with infected or the last refuge of the survivors you need to take out, where whatever it is Ivan wants is located. Upon completion you'll get a reward from Ivan.

Needs to fucking happen. Really, really reallyyy badly.

 

Mini quests with randomized rewards, not just exp and shit would be a really good incentive to continue playing. Perhaps they could be unlocked more easily by doing certain things like doing a bounty or raiding an AI compound, but I feel they should have a chance to randomly show up.

 

It'd be nice to get a bit of a mission briefing so you could figure out what weapons you may want to bring.
